Palm View Health and Wellness is an addictions treatment program that provides comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Clinical care is an essential component of the Palm View program, as it is designed to address the medical and psychological needs of clients during their recovery journey. As an AHCCCS contracted facility, Palm View works to ensure that everyone who needs help gets help. From the initial phone call to the alumni group, Palm View is guided by a treatment philosophy and clinical team that understands in order for treatment to be effective it must address the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of “human being”.
One of the primary goals of clinical care at Palm View is to assess each client’s individual needs and develop a personalized treatment plan to address their unique challenges. This plan may include a detoxification period, counseling, therapy, and medication-assisted treatment to help clients manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Palm View’s clinical team has been working in the field of addictions treatment for decades. This affords them a vast number of experiences to draw from as they work together to formulate effective treatment plans born out of evidence and wisdom.
Additionally, Palm View’s clinical team provides ongoing support to clients throughout their treatment, including regular check-ins, group therapy, and individual counseling. These sessions are designed to help clients better understand their addiction, develop more effective coping mechanisms, and, ultimately, to become familiar with the interplay between conscience and world.
Palm View’s clinical team meets every weekday morning to discuss and strategize each client’s progress (or lack thereof). Most of treatment happens outside of the therapist’s office. That is why these “morning briefings” are so vital. They allow the entire team to communicate up and down the chain of command. The therapist can utilize the behavioral health technicians’ experiences from the last 24 hours and use that data to adjust course, if need be, while the behavioral health technicians are able to better understand what each client should be working on while not in the therapist’s care.
At Palm View Health and Wellness, the clinicians are empowered. We understand the immense value that comes when formal education is married with real world experience. Through open communication and transparency, Palm View’s clinical team (clinical director, therapists, behavioral health techs., etc.) ensures that the clients are the unquestioned beneficiaries of this marriage.
